About Me

This is a final project for my RELI135 class. This is an "unessay," in which I research a topic relevant to the course and present it in the form I felt best fit.

Who Am I?

My name is Wyatt Allred and I am a sophomore at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Out of high school, I was directly admitted to UNC’s Hussman School of Journalism, where I currently study Advertising and Public Relations. Here, I’ve learned a multitude of skills, including how to make a website.

My journey as a Christian started my freshman year at UNC when I started to get involved with a Christian group on campus called Summit College. I’ve met some of my best friends here and with them, I’ve gone to church and done bible studies. I’ve become more interested in religion as a result of my faith, leading me to take this course this semester.

I am also someone who is passionate about all things Artificial Intelligence and how it impacts our world. I am fascinated with what AI can do and how can it improve our society, but also cognizant of its downsides. By combining two passions of mine in this final project, I’m able to see how AI impacts religion when the two interact.
